Intro:
Disclaimer. Hiking commenced at 0530 after saying hello to Grandma Sandy on her way up the mountain. Temperature was perfect at about 72 degrees. All hikers were happy to be on the mountain.

The Thang:
Timber hiked with his pack of pillows and Focker brought his back armor. Hiked at a moderate pace up the stairs and up both rails past rattle snake alley to the boulder scramble, over the highway to the turn/ window rock. On the way down 25 Merkins were completed at 4 stops. We learned the story of Thumb Wars name. Don’t ask to arm wrestle him. We also learned that the highest spot in New Orleans is in the zoo.

COT:
We circle walked the Countarama and namearama so we could get in a full 2 miles. Each member of the team not only said their name but had a hand jesters to go with it!
