Disclaimer was given. Warned some lady’s about rattle snakes as they were off the path. And off we went counterclockwise around 302! Start time was 0530 sharp.
The Thang:
Getting to sunrise shoulder so early is tough. Ran most the way but tapped out before the top. Very short stop at the top. Enjoyed great mumble chatter with Timber and around the backside we went. No rests through the back section or up Bayless connector. Bayless is tough. Walked last third. Down Piestewa main trail in a quick pace. Pushed the pace to make it in under 1 hour! We made the 3.72 in 59:32!
