Intro:
The crowd was more than double (5) than it was over the weekend (2). Despite those numbers being low, those in attendance definitely got their money’s worth of a beatdown.
Upon arriving at Rocket Town and getting out to take the Shovel Flag out and plant it into the ground, YHC discovered that he had cleaned out his car over the weekend – Ergo, No Shovel Flag.
Once he overcame that disappointment, the normal disclaimer was given, and we were off.
Warmarama:
Warm-up consisted of YHC asking some questions related to DBacks Trivia with the Pax to determine the number of Burpees. This group of men did not bring with them an ample amount of baseball/DBacks knowledge. Moonshot said that his knowledge was limited to the basic fact that “Luis Gonzalez played with the D-Backs.” Outside of that, he was nothing more than a spectator needing to be carried on the backs of the other Pax. Unfortunately, they did not fair too much better themselves. All told, 55 Burpees were done during the warmup.

YHC explained that he has no patience for his baseball team, especially the pitchers, when they make mistakes, blow huge leads, make errors, or just don’t compete to the level that they are being paid to compete at.
YHC gives credit to F3Goldrush for this next comment, as well as for this baseball themed beatdown…just changed the original Cubs name with DBacks.
YHC used this Saturday and it still applied today –
“Good thing that God isn’t a fan of us, the same way YHC is a fan of the DBacks, or else we would never be forgiven for any of our transgressions. Fortunately we have a forgiving God that forgives us for our past, present and future sins.”
