Intro:
Beautiful morning in the gloom today! A little chilly at 39 degrees, but that didn’t stop the mumble chatter from the beginning. Focker kindly reminded everybody of MABA (100 burpees/day) and that we just might be doing some burpees today. 0530 it was and then we’re off!
The Thang:
Up the mountain at quick pace knowing what was ahead of us…20 burpees at the first stop…20 burpees at the turnaround….20 burpees at the first stop on the way down…20 burpees at the overlook (first stop on way up)…and, well, yes, you guessed it…20 burpees at the helo pad to end it!
Blazer had to run (no literally, he ran to Camelback and back…beast mode!) before the ruck ended
COT:
Announcements
– MABA for January – keep it up! “Only” 27 more days left!
– Dryuary is still going strong as well. Focker and a few others are crushing it
– St Marys food bank volunteering on Sat Feb 6 8am-10am. Great way to help out the community and spend some time with F3 pax while NOT doing 100 burpees 🙂
Prayers/Intentions
– Lucas (Forrest’s son) for continued recovery and health.
– Duck and her family
Ended COT as usual by doing count-a-rama and name-a-rama. YHC quickly learned there was a lot of respect surrounding me (literally) and that was something I was lacking. Total years of “respect” pax was 212 and total years of “no respect” pax (ie YHC) was 34. Clearly respect wins the day! Stu tried renaming YHC to something about no respect, maybe next time!
In all seriousness, I am grateful for you men pushing yourselves and pushing me everyday. F3 has been a blessing in my life that I will forever be thankful for. Just like it was given to me without me earning it, I want to give F3 to others to share the positive impact. Have a great week!!
