Intro:
Beautiful morning in the gloom! Cool breeze with temps in high 30s. Disclaimer given and we’re off!
The Thang:
WARM A RAMA
– Up straddle hops (IC x 15 per leg)
– Chuck Norris IC x 15
– Little man in the woods IC x 15
THANG
Up to the bridge. Split into two groups. Group 1 runs to first light pole, once they get there group 2 will run past them to next light pole. While waiting for group to pass them, complete alternating shoulder taps. So on and so forth all the way across the bridge.
And oh yeah, almost forgot. Complete 1 bonnie blair for every car that passes us. This is cumulative (ie 2nd car passing means 2 bonnie blairs, 3rd car passing means 3 bonnie blairs, etc.).
Up to A Mountain. Sprints up to first turn and then 15 derkins on the mountain. Audible called (Omaha! Omaha!) and head back to the bridge. Run across bridge with various workouts along the way coordinated by different pax.
Back to grassy area near volleyball courts for some Mary. Back down to sand for springs and calf raises IC x 25 for 3 different calf raise variations.
COT:
Great having the Gilbert pax join us in the gloom! Really appreciate y’all pushing us and making us better. Credit to UHaul for making this a priority to have the two AOs connect more often.
Thank you guys for picking up my 6 this morning when i had to hang back for a minute!
With 2021 right around the corner (as in tomorrow), discussed something I am working on more. Giving everybody the benefit of the doubt and always assuming the best. Heard a great quote about this: “everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind.” As leaders one of the (many) ways we can act as such is by providing encouragement and being positive around others!
