Outback chasing a Panther

Intro:
We were waiting on Sweater Vest and looked down and it was 0531! Quickly got on trail up Echo! Headlamps gleaming in the darkest day of the year.

The Thang:
Hiked with a brisk pace up, reminiscent about Odin hops up the stairs. Up the rail section and the two boulder climbs. Made it to the turn with great time and fellowship on the way. 10 burpees for the effort at the top with 10 more burpees at 4 stops on the way down. Training for the Burp challenge upcoming! This was Outback’s first time on Echo. He decided to chase Panther down the hill. We didn’t tell him how fast a Panther moves down the mountain 😂 He soon found out!

COT:
Countarama and Namearama! Stu took us out for COT with thinking about positive outcomes about this past year and the Covid experience. He pointed out that although this is the darkest day in the darkest year that there still is light and positivity that happens! We did a Stu twist and breathed in the fresh morning air!!! Awesome place! Congrats on you first Echo hike Outback, look forward to seeing you back.
