Intro:
Kicked off the 4th with a muggy, humid trail beat down. T-Bone and Timber started at 302, but holiday parking made C(L)ockblocker, Chirp and Zanjero meet us at the first descent into Bayless. U-Haul started at Bayless and met the group at the top.

The Thang:
HUMID. MUGGY. SAUNA. 40% humidity made for a sticky run. Did our best to move at a respectable pace since we Focker was living it up in Flagstaff. No shame is admitting we got to our checkpoints, saluted the 25’s and kept moving. Chirp made a strong showing on his first PTR. He loved it so much, he got a little too close to the rocks on the final descent. He admitted that the parking lot distracted him and his knee kissed the trail. PTR takes another one. We hope to see you again though, Chirp!

Counterama. Namearama. Timber led the crew in prayer due to his tenure at PTR. Prayed for fellowship, independence and the sacrifice of those who laid down their lives for the freedom we celebrate this weekend.
