F3 Trivia!

Intro:
Beautiful morning in the gloom! YHC informed the PAX that we’d be playing some F3 Trivia today – this was met initially with excitement and followed by some mumbles of what may be in store…

Disclaimer given and it’s time to go!

The Thang:
WARM UP

  • Mosey around the park
  • SSH IC x 15
  • WW2 IC x 15
  • Plank jacks IC x 12

THE THANG
F3 Trivia rules: Correct answer = no plank and no burpees. “”I don’t know”” = 30 second plank and 3 burpees. Incorrect answer = 60 second plank and 6 burpees. Burpees carryover from round to round so better know your stuff!

Question #1: What is the mission of F3? After some mumble chatter, PAX were close but didn’t quite complete it. The mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership. Incorrect answer so 60 second plank and 6 burpees.

Workout #1: First exercise on one side of the park and second exercise on the other. Complete 5 sets of each with the following reps: 3, 6, 9, 6, 3. First exercise is bonnie blairs and second is scorpion dry docks.

Question #2: Location and date F3 started. Timber (without hesitation) crushed it and yelled Charlotte, NC! The PAX consulted (while we all did SSH, there are no breaks today) and went with an “”I don’t know””. F3 started in Charlotte, NC on 1/1/2011. 30 second plank and 9 burpees (3 for this round and 6 from prior round)

Workout #2: Same structure as workout #1 except with WW2 and sumo squats. Also increased reps to 6, 12, 18, 12, 6.

Question #3: How many states is F3 in today? SSH while PAX consulted each other. YHC offered a +/- 3 window…PAX guessed 27 and were within the window (30 total states today). Still complete 9 burpees for previous answers.

Workout #3: Same structure, but head to focker hill. Exercises are OH arm clap and seal claps. Increase reps to 9, 18, 27, 18, 9.

Workout #4: At focker hill, Jack webbs (start at 1 merkin, 4 air presses) all the way up to 8 merkin and 28 air presses.

Last trivia question – what is the credo of F3? Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you find him. Discussed the importance of living by this and holding each other accountable in order to help each other accelerate in our lives.
